As It is well known amongst Team Namibia’s members, ”Time waits for no one “; they only have less
than a month left to see their “completed” robot in the play field, in Geneva ,Switzerland – Excitement and anxiousness evokes within them. AMBIVALENCE.
The experience for the team has been indescribable (optimistically), breathtaking ,innovative
and inspirational to each of the individuals.

The Robot’s hardware (and software) was brought about by an allocation of shared
tasks amongst the three learners, with assistance from our mentors. Christofina being in control of
the robot base and programming, Benn in the administering of the shooter and it’s calculations and
Tauno, managing the robot’s intake system and the interrelation between the intake system and
the hopper/storage of carbon balls.
The Robot is prevalently under construction and testing, however, as it is well known, “Rome
wasn’t built alone in one day”, team Namibia strongly grasps each other’s hands into accomplishing this task.

The advancement of this year’s challenge’s robot, has entered various amounts of phases, which entailed those as: imagination, sketching, brainly math and physics calculations, a bunch of
CAD files, paper calculations, jotting down of ideas and FINALLY, the most pivotal, yet exciting, implementing and executing our ideas.
