Despite the aim, objectives and imperativeness, being the First Global Challenge and seeking ‘acquaintances’, as many prefer stating; The Challenge managed to reflect upon me that
friendship has no barriers. Regardless of Race, background, ethnicity and Religion, Sarah, a member from team Germany and I, managed to generate a stronger form of interpersonal bonds before and during the challenge. I believe this was ignited by a similarity in fondness for many things.

This is indeed true. This bond is maintained by online games, lengthy calls, motivation, learning from each other etc.
Sarah is one the unique beings I met at the challenge. Our friendship was initiated by an online meeting in the beginning of the year leading to meeting for the first time in person, in Geneva, Switzerland.
I’ve comprehended much from this specific individual and will continue doing so.
